New Commenting Rules.

When I set up this blog, it's purpose was to inform the members
(and not yet members) of the progress of the formation of the
co-op and the status of the purchasing of the park. This blog is
voluntary on my part too, and takes a lot of my attention...
more than I expected.

As the readership has increased, so has the commenting.
The comments have in a many cases become slanderous, coupled
with a lot of non constructive criticism. And from what I have
observed the ones doing this, do so anonymously.

So far I've let all blog comments go through. No more.
All comments will require your Name and Park Address.
Otherwise your comment will be deleted.
I may even go and delete some of the older posts, that serve
no useful purpose. I want to thank those that have already
been signing their posts.

When we have a member meeting you are allowed to speak
(within certain parameters) and you're not anonymous them.
We want to bring some honor and respect to this process even
if you disagree with some of it. As the saying goes:
"We can disagree without being disagreeable"

Bravo,
I have been going crazy reading all of these negitive responses.
I for one think the board and all of the volenteers have done a great job. And just so all know that it was majority of us who voted the board in no just one person. It is also all of the coop that votes everything in not the board.
I feel for Anita who has taken a lot of the brunt of the negitivatie.
People who are attacking her should think about what they are doing. It is not Anita who is making all of the decisions it is US the COOP!!!!!!!!
Thank you,

At the meeting only the persons you chose to call on were and the others were ignored - we had our hands up for over a half hour and were ignored....we chose then to speak our questions and opinions, but were not allowed to

It sounds like more positives are being written lately since the beginning. I'm glad. Anita shouldn't worry too much. She has a lot on her side. I think things are calming down some.

Jennifer, you are SOOO right. It is not fair that Anita has become a pin cushion. I too fell soo bad for her.

If people are so negative, why did they vote to become a coop? Now that we are trying to get it done, they want to complaine and toss bad remarks around. The board took time out of thier lives to help us, show them some respect!!!

S MacKenzie, I am so sorry you felt ignored at the meeting. My husband stood up front and he felt ignored too. Unfortunately there are some people that wanted to ask a question everytime and they were a bit pushy. So the people that nicely had their hands raised and never got called on must of felt ignored. Do you remember what your question was? Can we help with it now. or would you like to tell us at the begining of the next meeting , sit close to me and we will get that question answered. Also you said freedom of speech...what about the right to face ones accuser.

Also I want to thank everyone for their support. This is not an easy post to hold.

Wen walk up to the microphone, unless they have difficulty walking, in which case they should be should be sitting in the front where they can easily be seen. Then they would not be missed among all the people. It would also make it so everyone can hear the question so it will not need to be repeated, and hopefully people will not keep asking the same questions over and over again.
Alot of the questions people have can be answered before the meeting by any of the board members too.

I agree Bill. If the people who have felt left out and are reading this blog should ask there questions now. Then if there is a problem it can be address without delay.

Are we going to have a park meeting before Sept.? Are we going to have it on a Sat. again? I hope people read through their packets before the meeting this time because last time you could tell who didn't read them from their questions. It wasted time. I have a severe back injury and just got a back brace taken off right before the last meeting and I was in agony sitting there for 4 hours. I won't be able to sit that long again. I stayed until the end the last time. I hope the meeting is short otherwise I will have to leave early.

Hi everyone. What is going on with the heating system in the main..bldg? Did anyone find out if it is supposed to be left here? And also, the purchase of machinery, which to my understanding from the meeting, was included, except for lower cost items and such. Just trying to figure things out.

Have a great day!

HI EVERYONE,
The closing is now April 10th per Mark's request.
The heating system in still here and will remain here.
All the money is in the budget allready for maintanence supplies. We just need to tell you about it and get your okay. It basically is just a formality. It is important that everyone knows what excactly we need to buy and how much. Don't worry this does not effect the lot rent.
We are waiting for approval to use the High School Gym again. We are shooting for Tuesday April 24th. It hasn't been confirmed yet. I will let you know as soon as we know. i will post a sign at the mail box and letters will be put in doors again.
